I have been a working photographer since I turned 20 in 1984, although my fascination with photography and cameras goes back to when I was a child peering into the camera as my father was taking my picture.

I have been blessed to have travelled quite a bit as a child with my family, following my father in his career as a journalist, starting in Washington D.C., then to Coppet, Switzerland; Paris, France; the San Fernando Valley in California; Bergen County in New Jersey; and the last 29 years in upstate New York with my lovely wife and travel companion Cathy.

As you will see from the images on this site, my travels now range from Greece, France, Italy, Hawaii, New York, and Utah. Wherever I go, I try to balance being prepared beforehand, (doing my homework to get an understanding of what to be sure to see), and being open to making random turns off of roads and paths and stumbling upon visual delights.
